This is another photo by Steve McCurry in the gallery called "Lost in Thought". It is taken in Canada.

CCD Sensor: It is where the electrical charge is turned into digital format in a digital camera. It shifts the charges or signals in the sensor one at a time from stage to stage. It is the digital version of film.

RAW: An uncompressed image containing all of the sensors data, making it lower in contrast and not as sharp as a JPEG. It is higher in dynamic range and must be processed on a computer before printing.
JPEG: Is a compressed version of the photo which allows for higher contrast and a sharper image. Since it is much smaller many more photos can fit in the same space in a memory card.
