Lomography refers to both a group of photographers as well as trend of people who specialize in experimential film photography. The name of the movement refers to the camera which inspired it, the Russian film camera LOMO LC-A automat camera. The images produced by this camera were interesting blends of saturated color and motion. Viennese students created the society when they were inspired by the unique photos that the style produced.
