African Photographer Seydou Keita --Grace

Seydou Keïta is an African photographer who lived in Mali from 1921 to 2001.  He was self taught and specialized in portraits.  He was known for his attention to detail and the fact that he only took one photo per shot.  He always worked in the daytime and had clients from all over West Africa.  He is considered the father of African photography.  What also makes him interesting, is that Seydou provided western dress for the Africans employing his services.
